I have a website which sells widgets .

now i have three approaches to build this site

1. www.widget.com (www.keyword.com )

2.www.brandname.com

3.www.keyword.co.uk /com.au/co.nz/ect

in optimizing for google which would be more appropriate to gain appropriate good page rankings

1. www.widget.com/widget/

2.www.brandname.com/widget/

3.www.keyword.co.uk/widget/

so what i am asking is for each product which way is the better option to develop an entire webiste using a keyword or devlope using a brandname?

1. are .com better than .co.uk for google
2. are keywords better or brandnames ?

would www.brandname.com/widget/ be just as useful as www.widget.com/widget/?
or would one be more effective or could www.widget.co.uk/widget/ be more effective?

Hi Madmal.

I asked a similar question recently and was pointed here.
