What is www-zu.google.com?

I've known about www vs www1 vs www3 but what about the rest?

Can we establish a reference for the different Googles?

www is the proper, www2 and www3 are the temps during update. What about any others such as www-zu and www4 and www5?

I don't think there is a www4 & www5 google? I know there is www-in, but I presume it is just a temporary data centre like www2 and 3.

Go to dance.efactory.de and you'll see a list of all the Googles. These are the various data centers that Google uses. Any time you do a search on Google your query is directed to one of these data centers.

Indeed... the DC is 10 minutes walking distance
from my place and there is an optical Gbps link
getting through.

It will soon be 1 year the Zurich GG datacenter
is open, but still no result coming from it, AFAIK

'backup' one?
