Google spidered...like fast, site showed up fast.. poof gone today..

I used Namesecure.com and their forwarding option to set up a website.
After two or three days.. Google was already spidering the directory, before I ever did any submission process. Luckily the page was just about done when Google came by...
On the sixth day I just happened to check... and the site was showing up just about where it was supposed to show up... and the search of the domain showed it was in the directory. This was also true for Yahoo.
Now this morning... poof all is gone, no listing..... in either directory.
This is so weird...

How could Google even know about the domains "birth", unless Namesecure is releasing new domains to them, and then start spidering it?

Yahoo... had it in their directory at almost the same time as Google... which was also weird and then they are both gone this morning?

Any comments on the way Google and the other search engines like or dislike the redirect Namesecure uses...

Thanks for your thoughts and insights on these topic.

everflux....

and Yahoo takes results from Google, so the same applies, it was probably NOT in the directory.

Or if you're a bit unlucky and got spidered by fresh near the end of the month, you may miss a month. This has happened twice to me recently: picked up by fresh, some rankings, a little traffic, then it all disappears with the update and I'm out for a month. Back in with a proper PR the next month.

Thanks group! I've got about 15 domains I started etc..
(yeah I know... so what!)
But that was the quickest that I saw google come around
especially because nobody knew about the domain except
me and namesecure.com So I can only guess that
namesecure.com is releasing the "birth" of a new domain
to google.

I had read here last yearish about google's more agressive
spidering, and followed in my logs the activity...
but not about Everflush (sounds more like a radiator treatment).

Thanks again.

Not if the site wasn't up when the deepcrawl occured.

I had a new site that was deep crawled last month without it being submitted or being linked to by any other site.

I assumed the googlebar in my browser was sending the domain name back to google while I was browsing it, and that's how google got to know about it's existence and therefore spidered it.

If this is the case then it's something to watch out for if you are developing a new site and aren't ready for it to be spidered.

No googlley tool bar...
I guess I should use it on my other computer to spam my site...
but nahhh... I'd never do that.

The site was up with the important "key" wording etc..
Thanks group!

Well we showed up again today...
Same search, same search results, different "bat"day.
I guess were in, or it's that radiator thingy again.
Wax On, Wax Off.

Thanks again.. time will tell.
