I believe non-reciprocal links are worth a lot more, it’s just harder to get them

yes, it is very hard to get them. Thats why i am thinking to interlink my domains(10 domains) without reciprocity.

<<it’s just harder to get them>>

Not when they're from your own domains ;)

Dumb question,

What's a non-reciprocal link?

Stay away from heavy cross linking, it may be considered spam by Google and thus penalized.

Is this theory only for page-page recip links or site-site?

Most sites place the recip links in a links page, even though both sites participating link to the home page. And since Google analyzes page vs. page rather than site vs. site, does it know that these links are recip links?

As far as I know Google does not object to reciprocal linking per se. Heavy cross linking refers to a situation were many pages in one site include a link to a page in another site, this is sometimes done to artificially boost the PageRank of the target page.

I can't tell you how many time I read statements like this and shake my head. Recip links is what the web was built upon. The day that an SE would object to recip links would NEVER happen.

Will they object to cross-linking only within your own domains? Maybe some day.
