Hi,

We use MS Frontpage for the design of our site. I recently read on this forum that html v. kb ratio might be worth looking at, and indeed there is some code I think we can tighten up on some of our pages. However, I can't seem to find stats for the kb size of each page's code anywhere, only for how long each page takes to download on an average modem. Please help!

Best wishes,

Daniel

Welcome to WebmasterWorld, Daniel.

I think your question is best asked here: [webmasterworld.com...]

You can look at the files in Windows Explorer. Set the view to "details".

Umm, the question refers to finding the ratio of total File size to HTML code within it.

The only thing I can think of is to view the page in a browser, and select the Save As... Text option, and then compare the size of the Text File (equals Content without Tags) with the size of the HTML file (equals Content and Tags total).
