BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

Ok, I needed a good laugh...

Unless Google messes up in the biggest way, even if Microsoft were able to approach G's speed/relevance/etc they still wouldn't be able to pull away G's market share...it's a free service for goodness sakes.

The only thing that could possibly happen is that advertising with Adwords would get competition and the rates would lower somewhat. But my bet is that MS doesn't have a prayer at touching Google's technology.

For goodness sakes, they're still trying to catch up with Unix stability--and it's been around for over 30 years.

The problem with MS is that they tend to believe their own press: "We're right because our marketing dept. says we're right"...

The question is: who's MS going to covet/purchase to compete? Surely they're not creating their own Googleplex at the MS Puzzlepalace.
