Parked a domain.. PR 0

Is there a chance?

Hiya all!

I had several domains floating around that I have now developed, before which had a simple "Under Development" message. I know: not smart. Really I didn't bother to think: "What if Google finds these sites?" They're pretty obscure URLs.. and I don't think anyone would link to a blank page.

Is there any chance Google will revisit a PR 0? Or are my domains doomed to google failure?

There sure is!

Jason, were they out there as active domains with links, or unused domains just parked at the registrar? Unless there's a suspicious history, grey toolbar or PR0 generally doesn't mean anything. It's either not in the index or it's a blind guess. Same thing if it's hosted and nothing is done with it. No links=no Page Rank.

I put up a site last month that was a new domain that had been just sitting at GoDaddy, and it was PR0 until it went up (with a temp page, no problem). It then turned grey, and though it's getting almost daily fresh crawls and ranking it's still grey, which is normal until after the regular crawl when it's assigned whatever the PR will be and turns up in an update.

Get a couple of links to the sites before this coming update, and watch for it at the end_of_April update. It doesn't sound like there's any problem at all if nothing was ever done with those domains.
