Do you resubmit when you change a home page content?

I have changed the content entirely of an existing homepage.
Should I now resubmit it even though it has been indexed?

This also applies to 2 other home pages which I can't remember if I submitted, but I dont want to resubmit and be listed for spamming.
What should I do?

No, you need not resubmit. Your updated pages shall be indexed the next time Googlebot visits, since you're in the index anyway. BTW, higher PR pages with frequent changes get visited more often.

Yep ..

Just know that google will update your site or page in one or another way. If you enjoy a higher pagerank (say 5 or above) you might see your change reflexed in the google index as the "fresh bot" looks for just these changes.

Infact you can kinda "train" the google fresh bot to visit often by updating your index page often (several times weekly).

Make sure you have at least two or three external links pointing to your site from sites that are indexed by Google, preferably from PR6 and up sites. Yes, the fact that you are indexed indicates that you had external links, but links can sometimes to disappear;-)
