Would Google consider this a Hallway Page?

Let's say the main page of my site lists various manufacturers which are linked to pages that list all the models made by that manufacturer.

On this models page each model links to specifics/parts for that model.

My concern is that the second page, the one that lists all the models for the manufacturer is really nothing more than links and looks a lot like a hallway page. There can be quite a few links on this page. It would not be easy to write content for this page.

I don't care about these pages ranking well but I would like google to follow them to the meatier pages.

In essence it is similar to the function of a site map.

What do you think? Is there a problem here?

Hi MrSpeed,

Sound perfectly legitimate to me. Visitors go from home to second level page to third level page.

It might though be worth it to take to time to give the second-level pages a bit more meat. Whether you don't care if they rank well or not, if you got 'em, why not use 'em?

Model 100 Basic widget.
Model 150 Makes simple left-handed widgets.
Model 500 Widget maker for widgeting fanatics.

You might be able to do a bit with secondary keyword phrases.

Good Idea. I'll place a little text next to each link.
