one of our competitor has 2 duplicate site..
one of them was blocked and came back today and it is #1 when searching high ranked keyword and other site is #14 at same keyword..
same web-sites (index, pages,...etc), same ip, same owner, same & same..

is it a reason of penalty? how can i report at google? spamreport at www.google.com/contact/spamreport.html and does it work good? how long does it take?
will 2 of them have penalty or?

and same company has several web-sites with same content but little bit different design but on same ip and with same owner...

so all them linked each other at link page...etc

how can i match them?

Thanks

Hi samuel_ado

I'll reply and give this a shot.

I actually checked your most recent messages and found that you have come from "Help, I have been penalized / dropped"
[webmasterworld.com...]
[webmasterworld.com...]
to "How can I get these sites dropped?".

Maybe Google know who reported these other sites and filtered them out without anyone seeing them because of your past actions.

Sure, the Spam report page and emailing Google is not giving immediate effects, but GoogleGuy has explained why. Because they don't want to drop sites manually, they want to write it into code so that other sites using the same tactics are also canned.

I would agree that often Google simply fail to do anything, even when the sites near enough say "Hormel's genuine, and proud of it". But I wonder if your report simply got canned because of past problems with your sites.

I would be amazed if Google did not find such a site (identical content on identical IP's), really. If you are right, report the sites again, and maybe use a different PC ;-)

The Google filters usually are doing a good job in detecting duplicate content. If they have not detected the sites you are referring to my guess is that they do not consider it duplicate.

can i mail to help@google.com or webmaster@google.com then will they take care?
