I couldn't believe it. I was watching a new series on the WB network called Black Sash and one of the lines the actor said was that he "Googled" a guy. Now I'm waiting for a movie to come out that features Google like AOL was featured in Sleepless in Seattle :)

Maybe WB can put together a series that's wrapped around a small town semi-retired librarian who not only dusts and shelves the books, but has a kind comment for every lil' lass in pigtails and every lil' gum chewing lad, and can find information for everyone who drives in from miles around. She can even have a mother who pops in every episode who works for the local department of social services.

They could call it Googling Georgia. Ok, ok, it sounds a lot like Judging Amy without the law degrees, but tele isn't exactly immune from knockoffs ya know.

Didn't you hear? Spielberg is busy producing 'The Google Guy' right now .. and Jim Carey will play the Google Guy. ; )

Jim Carrey huh? Maybe not as good as Kevin Costner, but still better than Rick Moranis. I guess I'd take what I could get. :)

Now I have to go find out more about this Black Sash show. Sounds like an intelligent show if they use Google. :)

Yes, his experience as the Cable Guy helped a lot to get him the part ;)

:D Was an entertaining show. I hope the voices/acting fix itself a little bit over time. But heheh they said google'd him. ;) Found out he was a cop or something (:

IIRC, an episode of ER in the last few months has also used the term 'google him'. (One of the ones where someone was going on a blind date... Don't remember the Dr.'s name.)

It's everywhere, on an Irish phone-in radio show last week, a caller in the middle of a comment said".... you wouldn't need Google to find that out..."

I saw 'Maid in Manhattan' couple of weeks ago. Jennifer Lopez in a conversation with her son uses 'Google' as a verb but I cant recollect the context. This is in the first fifteen minutes of the movie.

Jennifer Lopez ... uses 'Google' as a verb

Guess another letter from the lawyers will be necessary... You might want to deliver that one in person, GG! ;)

I'll place the letter on a tray and follow you, Googleguy :)
