Is this IP Google?

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I'm new to this game. I've had the ip address 216.167.97.169 go through 1850 files on my site .. just wondering, is this Google? Is it the Deep Crawler or?

sysdomatic... My experience is it is generally 216.239.**.**
Hopefully others here can provide more information on this.

It isn't Google, definitely, but I couldn't get the # to resolve with the two reverse dns lookup sites that I use... odd.

added: Found it. It's Verio.net, they do hosting etc. I can't say why they were intersted in your site. And welcome to Webmasterworld.

Verio's notorious for spammers--look at the email blackhole lists and they basically poop on Verio addresses by the /16.

I would guess that some Verio customer is probably doing an Email scan of your site.
