What else to optimize?

What else do I need to optimize for Google....

I hope this isn't considered a site review. I just want to see what else I need to optimize for Google and the best way to do it is to show you the steps I've already taken. I'm trying to get some free listings to get off of my AdWords addiction (with a 143% ROI who needs free listings?).

Page Info
(Trying to optimize for [Keyword])

Title: MyDomain.Com - The [Keyword] Site

Meta Kewords: [Keyword], 10 other keywords

Meta Description : [Keyword] Information

<H1> contains [Keyword] once

<H2> contains [Keyword] once

<Body> contains [Keyword] 13 times spread evenly throughout the text

[Keyword] contained in two tables on page

Three links to various *[keyword]*.com sites

Keyword density of [Keyword] is 10.66%, the highest of any word on the page and the same as the current top two listings for [Keyword] in Google.

Page is 31kb which is about as small as it's going to get.

What other optimization 'tricks' should I implement in the content of the page. Everything I've done was done based on stuff I've seen suggested here but I'm sure there are other things I could be doing.

Thanks,

jady

Just realized how important the use of keyword anchor text is in the links that are out there pointing to your website within the "href=".

Yes if possible get some inbound links with your keyword in the anchor text. Rest all seems proper.

keyword in last line/paragraph of the page.

Note: may not be where you think. e.g. right before the close </body> tag.

woop01,

Title: MyDomain.Com - The [Keyword] Site

Actually, my preference would be for:

"Keyword" or "Keyphrase" _then_ your domain for Page Title.

Are you using CSS to style your page?

Do you have a site map? If not make one and make it look nice for people not just bots.

All else seems good- but to be repetitive, check all the backlinks of your top 10 competitors or thereabouts (use all the web in addition to Google to check) to make sure you get all the links you can.

AW

"Keyword" or "Keyphrase" _then_ your domain for Page Title.

Make that the company name rather than domain name.

The object is to get people to remember the company - because they can always find the website if knowing the company name... but they can't always find you if the domain name wasn't properly remembered and have no idea what the company name was?

The site map is the best sollution for Google crawler....! use it.

Daniela,

Your signature will be deleted as per the ToS but most links on your "wo.to" shared-IP address site are empty.

Wow! Usually they grab those within 2 minutes... hehe - but Daniela, you need to get a "real" domain if you are planning on marketing that thing..
