I used to run an Indian humor site which is pretty well ranked in Google and has a good Dmoz ranking. After a bit, I figured I'd broaden the scope of the site, and I shut the old one down, with a link back to the new site.
I also have a filipino humor site being run by another friend (no common whois info or IP address) on the same server.
The new site is also listed on dmoz.org and is in the new google directory.
However, when I type in the name of the new site in the directory search box on Google, it pulls up the following three results.

b) Listing of old site
c) Listing of the filipino humor site which links back to a
Time for the conspiracy theorists to explain this one to me? :)
1. the DMOZ titles or descriptions of your different listings show the search term you used.
2. Google regards some DMOZ listings as worthy of showing as "directory" results. If you are listed within the page of such an alternative directory listing you show up in the Google directory serps. It could be that one of your sites is considered directory worthy? (you can check this by directory searching for another term only visible on the page).
