I have a pr5 site which I'm expanding on gradually ie. adding pages related sub domains etc. On the 14 of this mth I created a subdomain of 7 - 8 pages on the related topic. Within 12 hours I was getting hits from google on the new subdomain, but what gets me is (and I understand freshbot) my new sub domain site has continued to stay in google at postion 4 for nearly 2 weeks since and also listed in yahoo AOL and MSN, 24 hours after the subdomain site was created. It has been listed and receiving hits for the last 12 days.
I created this subdomain on the 14 of this mth.

Not complaining mind you but previous experience was a couple of days listed by the freshbot, dumped, then included in the following mths google update.

Also created another subdomain 6 weeks prior to this (mid Feb) hoping it would be included in the March update but not even freshy picked it up yet, and no hits what so ever on that one, yet both sub domains have links from my index page.

Is Google changing?

Just another interested but learning wanna be.

Welcome to the board #5 (great nick).

We've seen every variation of the above scenario you describe. I think it all depends on the pr level of the page that links to the new ones.
