Backward links coming up blank

A site I look after is regularly crawled by Google and I can find most of the pages (its a small site/brochure-ware for a consultancy) in Google, but when I check for "backward links" I get a message saying none exist. There are about 30-40 sites that link to the site, and I can find those links in Google as well. Can anyone suggest why this may be the case?

Thanks

Stuart

Welcome to WebmasterWorld, Stuart.

Google shows backlinks ( last I checked...) from sites that are PageRank 4+, so if a site has only links that are < PageRank 4, they won't show...

Course, Google could change all that. :) But, last I checked this was still the case.

Cheers!
