SERP's different on www3- freshbot or everflux related?

On a client site- my client told me he saw different results on www3 as opposed to www and I told him I didn't think so...update hasn't started yet.

So, I check out this forum and see no update posts- think he's crazy.

Sure enough for one of his key phrases he is #34 on live Google, but #17 on www3.

Other phrases he is the same. Back on 3/13 he was #19 for that phrase.

Is this everflux or freshbot related? Why would www3 be different already if the update hasn't started?

Yes to both, everflux and fresh! It's also been different between www and www2, even on just one with another try for the same search a few minutes around. There will also be different fresh dates with sequentially searching on different search terms until it catches up - then it starts all over again in a day or two.
