My site's google listing "half updated"

Listing shows page's new title sometimes and old title sometimes

After deciding to target a new keyword I adjusted several pages accordingly. I just noticed my first hit from a visitor using that search term, and looking at the refering google page found my new page title which is obviously good.

Doing another search for the company's name again brought up my site, but with the old title.

Although I know that rankings change between updates, I have never heard of a site's listing being "half updated". Any ideas?

borisbaloney,

get this. I have been updating this and that our company website over the last few days. Some new content, as well as some tweaking. I've had some freshdates, then they left, then they came back again. The cache was updated too. BUT NOW, Google has a design in cache that dates back to late December, and some SERPS don't even have us (or others) right now.

I think that this is the everflux. I find that this Link [google.fergusons.dk] can be helpful to monitor the flux, and reduce stress.
