I just wondered if there was a general way of using the Overture Search suggestion tool to find the number of searches done on a term, and then using a formula to estimate how many times this would be done on Google.
With overture remember the keyword tool reverts to the singular, and there is a UK or US tool.
A better guide for Google is to explore adwords and set up an account. They will estimate your click throughs for a chosen keyword, which gives you a guide to traffic. However, I believe only a small percentage of people click adwords compared to the natural listings.
