Changes Made to Sites and Freshbot Rankings

New cache but ranking stays

--I make changes to several all our sites.

--Freshbot picks them up and after a few days it shows the new cache.

--The rankings don't change at all.

I always thought that you could use freshbot to you advantage, making changes to your site and see the effect on the rankings after the freshupdate (only a few days after).

But our rankings seem to never change after changes inbetween the monthly full indexing (for the prior keywords it was targetting, but it does show up for new keywords (ex. if I change the title some)?

Any experience with this?

from my own experience, you dont always see ranking changings instantly. where i have definitely seen ranking changes is for easier 2/3 word phrases for a new site that freshbot has found. usually, the day after freshbot has indexed it, i start to see rankings for the less popular (hence easier to rank for) keyphrases.

I am surprised more people have not given there thoughts and experience with this given this is actually a very important question!?

Our site is already listed. If you make changes to the site (and freshbot picks these up including the new cache) why do the actual rankings for the site not seem to change?

For Example:
I am targeting "widgets"

I change the title to "wid-gets"

My ranking for "widgets" does not change despite the freshbot visit and new cache (but is is now found doing a search for "wid-gets" also...

Make sense?
