When does freshbot crawl?

Hello,

I was wondering if there were any hard and fast rules about when freshbot crawls? Is it out only for a certain period of time and then put away, or does it crawl all of the time?

I ask because:
1 - I don't have access to the logs for the only site that I regularily update and...

2 - that site recently had a freshdate. As I have some changes that I am phasing in this week, I thought I'd keep an eye on the FD and see how long Fbot would keep coming back. Sadly, it only grabbed two of the updates, and now the freshdate is gone.

Any ideas?

GoogleDance usually starts around month-change and takes ~ 9 days
Freshbot comes every now and then.
Some of our customers are being crawled almost daily, others every 3-5 days.
