Hi

this is my first time posting an issue like this. I am hosting a subdomain primarily dedicated to the Linux Version of NWN.

the name of the subdomain is nwnlinux and it is being hosted for a guild of NWN game players.

I built the page myself, careful to make certain that keywords, NWN, Linux, and Neverwinter Nights were used where they were relevant. The A tags are titled according to the information they link to, and the image tags have appropriate ALT tag words as well. The site does not have a large number of backlinks because it has just started out. However, it does contain a reasonable amount of useful content (the NWN client hasn't been released yet) and an exchanged link from my Page rank 6~7 main domain.

Now, here's the rub. When I first built the page, the site was listed in the search index in the top 4 sites when someone searched for the keywords, nwn + linux. Now, the site isn't listed at all.

I did recieve a visit from both GoogleBots, and I did submit the site to Google for inclusion. (yes, that submission page still exists). However, the site appears to have completely vanished from the search index.

Does anyone have any idea what happened to the site? I know the site was down for about 20 minutes the other night, but there were no Googlebots in the vicinity when this occured, and the Bot did visit the forums shortly before we lost our listing.

with regards
Chile

I should also add that ther site uses a javascript collapsable menu very similar to the one that Bioware itself employs on it's main page. In order to compensate for the Googlebots inability to read the links contained there, I left plain jane A tags underneath the menu DIV tag.

Would this be considered some sort of hidden text by teh Googlebot? If so, I have no problem placing the links somewhere else.
