I probably should know better but I would figure this would not be around if Google did not like the use of this tool. Has anyone used it before or have any insight?

Also, does anyone know if this really help with the other SE's like MSN?

It is not really necessary. To get on Google is actually easy just go to [google.com...]
Or even better exchange links with sites that are already on Google. Especially, try to get links from sites that are highly ranked for the terms you are trying to target.

As for MSN... You need to target Inktomi or pay for Looksmart or Overture. The same rules apply to Inktomi as Google (get links).
However, you can also pay Inktomi to spider your site.

No need to pay Inktomi...Yahoo has unleashed slurp...trying to build up the database...check your log files....look for something interesting to happen...

Hi decaff,

Are you saying we should expect deep crawls from ink soon?
Is this information available on the net, yet?

Alternative Future,

We have experienced a marked surge from slurp lately and we aren't paying for inclusion...this we believe is a trend regarding Yahoo's potential change in their business relationships with Google....our take is that they are simply trying to build up the depth of the inktomi index so that, at some point, they can deliver results...it's all a mystery at this point...we have high hopes that there will be an altenative to google results, which in our opinion, have been degrading recently....AND....delivering some strange, inconsistent results and handing out questionable penalties...

good luck..

google has no problem with bcentral submit it. that tool is for those that do not know SEO well. it spiders the entire site and analyses it for general SEO techniques. you fix the noted problems and submit. Inkomi paid inclusion and a MSN keyword research tool are included. it's not really for a pro SEO, but not bad for others.
