I noticed an new index in my Category. The new number 1 site in page rank order is showing no backlinks. What's up?

It could be that all the sites that link to the page are lower than PR4, if this is the case then they will not show as backlinks.

Hi HackingLawyer,

Couple of things could be up.. Google seem to have changed the way they display backlinks and they certainly have never shown all of them..

If it has PR it must have some links afaik, but it might have lots of little ones, it may be a very large site with very few incomming links etc. that google doesn't show. The fact that it's in your catagory means it has at least one after all..

D'you want to sticky me the url, I'll take a look :)

edit: Craig, damn your quick! Beat me to it.. ;)

The backlinks are not all showing.
My site has numerous 4-6PR backlinks, and SERPs for my url often show the page my link is on and even description text from them. Many of those pages are over4PR, yet link:ww... only shows two.
I know the other pages are both indexed and well ranked, yet they don't show.

It must have been the flux. The site is now showing backlinks. Thanks for the responses.
