High rank, low rank, no rank!?

Can someone explain it to me?

I just went from a high to a low. A few days ago, after the Google dance started, I went from position #129 to #3. I was jumping for joy after that. It stayed that way for three days. I just checked this morning and now I'm back down to #129 - like nothing has changed. My heart just slipped down into my stomach. I feel so down right now. What just happened?

The dance is not done. The new index probably will be going in and out for most people for another couple days or so. You probably are seeing #129 when you get a server still with the old index.

It's like a trampoline, one minute your up and the next yer down... Keep on jumping after a few days it will settle in and you will know where you've landed.

Can you individually search each of Google's servers? If so, how do I do this?

OK. I don't get this. Now the www results seem to be in already. However, the results for www2 and www3 are different from the www. Like a new update has begun.

Also, I noticed that the Yahoo results are the ones that show in www2 and www3.

Yup.

Check out:

www2.google.com
www3.google.com

There are lots of online tools that will let you search all the databases at once, search around, you'll find one.

From what I know so far...

There're a lot of online tools that check all the data centers at once, but sometimes it is little off from the SERP from individually checked www2 & www3.

One of my site went from 19th to 105th for the first 2~3 days.
It went up to 13th on the 4th day and it is still there!
And I hear the dance is still not over. :(

I've sussed it - it's Google's new policy: the dance never ends.
Expect fluid SERPS from now until eternity.
