Hi
I read somewhere that google recommends no more than 100 links on a page. Does this only apply to links that point to other sites? (so they dont mistake you for a link farm) or does it also apply to internal links?
I have an a to z that has over 100 links but they are all to pages within my domain. Is this ok?
They listed it, but i'm worried

If it works for your users, it works for you.

It's mainly about offsite links. You get above a hundred, and most pages are not usable anyway.

thanks brett
I see alot of sites, especially accommodation sites that have plentiful of local links towards the foot of their pages, so i guess it must be ok.
i just wanted to be sure

Its a Google guideline: [google.com...]

Internal links over 100: - make sure that page has a Pagerank of 4 or more and that its not larger than 101 kb.

Then most likely the links towards the internal pages will get indexed.

I have several pages with more than 100 internal links. They all get indexed.
(BTW, its not necessarily a good thing to do, I did it on some of my pages just as an on-line overview for myself)
