Five of my clients sites disappeared (out totally of the index) once the dance started and their PageRank is nothing (not zero), it is a empty PageRank. How, where or who do we check with to know if our clients sites are banned? ALL of these sites were in the Top 10 for VERY competitive terms (#1, #1, #3, #7 & #10).

We don't want to send our clients in a panic but we are extremely worried! Any ideas?

I believe you were asked a few questions in one of the previous threads you posted on the same subject. You might try answering those.

You need to supply more information before people can help you.

What information do you need? I'll do anything?

It looks suspicous. Many here may say to wait until the dance is over, but I have never seen any of our several dozens sites go 'dark' during the dance or any other time.

Is it possible you were doing some extensive cross-linking between your client sites that created a problem for them all - or were they all independent as far as links?

If you go back to your old threads you will see that you were asked if you cross-link, or if they are all on the same server.

Thank you! No they are all on different host servers and they did link to each other. They linked from one site to the next site but never back.

Sorry! I meant to say they did NOT all link to each other!

No! I didn't know how I was to find out the real status. Some say wait until the Dance is over because they say it is unstable and they other sites have been dropped before and then reappeared or if they have been banned? I looking to find how to know what has happened? And if is bad how do we proceed? Can we do anything to fix the problem if there is one? We are looking for a guidance the steps to take to verify and possibly rectify?

Thank You!

I would wait a few more days--let the index settle down--and if they're still gone, drop us a note at webmaster@google.com with the subject line "reinclusion request." I would guess that it's not a penalty, but we can check for you.

Thank you GoogleGuy for your reply. I'll do that. I'll wait and see. Thanks again!
