This is how the search result for "mywebsite.com" looked before and after this update. We have a server redirect when people access our website the first time.

Before this update everything looked fine:

1. MyWebsite Title
text from website text from website text from website text from website text from website
Description: Dmoz description comes here
Category: Dmoz/Category/Here
[wwWebmasterWorldebsite.com...]
[More results from wwWebmasterWorldebsite.com]

After this update the information is splitted in two entries:

1. MyWebsite.com
Description: Dmoz description comes here
Category: Dmoz/Category/Here
[wwWebmasterWorldebsite.com...]

2. MyWebsite Title
text from website text from website text from website text from website text from website
[wwWebmasterWorldebsite.com...]
[More results from wwWebmasterWorldebsite.com]

Did anyone else notice this?

Leif

Leif, this happens when there are links pointing to both URLs, and when Googlebot finds different content at each.

Googlebot can find different content if the page changes slightly between the times that Googlebot visits the two URLs.
