Getting into google

I submitted my site to google a month ago but didnt get in this time. Whats the best way to get into google, I put some links on already existing site but thats only PR2. Does it have to been text links or will images be ok.

Also if i have two links from high rank sites with PR6 and 5 will i get a good PR or do i need incoming links from lots of sites....

Also i am new to this and dont know the meaning of backlink, what is it....

Simply by having other pages link to you that are currently in Google.

Images work as well, but you don't have the advantage of using link text as keywords. You can probably use alt text, but I don't believe that carries as much weight.

As mentioned on this thread, you should try to get many good links to your site:

That would be a page linking to you.
