Dominating the Serps

for a particular keyword

I just realized I have some sites that have many different pages coming up in the top 10 for a particular keyword, and am wondering if this is considered 'risky'. I certainly did not intend for this to occur.

I used variations of a particular key phrase for each page, using the same keyword on each.

i.e.,

blue-widgets.com
blue-widgets.com/large-blue-widgets.html
blue-widgets.com/small-blue-widgets.html
etc.

It is a good news for you, why worry about it! ;)

Google only shows two entries max for any site which has numerous pages that ranks highly for any given search phrase so you shouldn't have any problems imo.

Thank you for responding to my post!

The only problem is that I have many different *sites* coming up in the top 10 for the same/related keyphrases.

For example, I have 8 different sites appearing in the top 10 (!) for the same keyword.

I now realize that I should have targeted unique keywords for every single page/site rather than using keyphrases with the same keyword in them.

Some of the sites which are now appearing in the top 10, were not 'ready' to be submitted when Google crawled and indexed them. They were merely 'one pagers' with crosslinks to my other sites. I had NO idea Google would find them before they were completed. I am certain the reason they have ranked so well was due to the fact that I had interlinked them all (to make it easier for me to test each site as I was completing them).

The cached pages which are coming up in the top 10 are no longer in existence, as I have since changed them. Thus, I imagine these top listings will be very short lived:)

Speaking of which....Is there any way to access the cached versions while the update is still in progress (when they only show up in www2 and www3)?
