Hello everyone,

I know that the Google update is now in full flow, so a big thanks for anyone with the time for a helpful answer.

I am currently going through my site with a fine comb getting rid of all dead links etc before adding new stock. I want to add the following tag to the head:

<base href=http://www.i-sell-widgets.com/>

This means that my page sizes will be reduced somewhat, making the page load faster for the end user whilst making better use of bandwidth. (Not that the site is super busy!) However, will Google still be able to follow the links through the site?

There's no point at all doing this unless it's ok with Google! Thanks once again for your help, it's very much appreciated.
