A couple of my new pages i have noticed are listed twice because i was doing an a to z and they got replicated by accident. e.g /widgets/blue_widgets.html and /widgets/widgets_blue.html
Should i delete one of the duplicate pages? will i get penalised? out of the 400 odd new pages listed from my site, i can only find two that are duplicate. Later i will go through my site files and double check.

What is my best move?
Delete the duplicates? but then they will still be in the google cache

Should i contact google and tell them what i did, and tell them i have deleted the duplicates?

I am seriously worried. I rely on google completely at present.
It's all due to me rushing to get pages up intime for the update!
Thanks for any advice

I've done it a couple of times by accident and not noticed till months later at which time I deleted the duplicate.
Nothing happened, no problems. I would be surprised if anyone was seriously interested save and except for any automatic filters, however in view of GG's recent comments, if you do have an actual problem as opposed to a pereceived problem then if and when, it might be worth a note to them.
In the interim, sit tight and stop worrying, its not the crime of the century and will probably just pass off.
