I'm noticing a lot of crap in there at the top of some of my best performing SERPS. This could be bad news...
Anyone else?

I still see bad spam - hidden links sites etc

Same here... I counted about 1/3 to 1/2 of the top 100.
I stopped counting after that.
And about 1/2 of those sites are all the same company.

It seems **** enlargement is particularly relevant to a lot of searches. :P
Maybe this is just a bad dream. So far I haven't seen it on www yet.

webdevsf, drop a quick spam report form in and mention your nick. I'd like to see what query you're doing, and I have access to that queue.

I'm seeing the same thing on one of my queries.
The main site and their doorway site own the top spots.
Same content, same owner, different domain name.

Googleguy, would you mind if I sent a targeted spam report to you? I am getting some shady result for one search on www2.

Definitely werty and mrguy. I mentioned in another thread, but the number of spam reports for the new index is running below average so far. Tell me the queries you're seeing..

I found a perfect of example of everything Google warns about on the SEO page.
I am actually noticing less spam than usual. A spam site that I have had to report two months running is no longer seeping into the index. Maybe they just have a manual penalty against them (which is a nasty pun considering their content).

Just got it werty with no problems. Thanks for pointing it out--should be gone soon.
Okay, I'm getting a little beat. Keep the positive feedback coming here, and any specific negative feedback coming in via spam report. :)

I searched for "free dating" on www2 some Site in the UK comes up #1, but when i click on the link i get a page with a single image, and a menu bar on the side.. The description that appears in google, is nowhere to be found in the source anywhere on the site.. Would this be an example of cloaking?
