Key word search results - finding your web page quick

Is there a way to find out quickly where your webpage ranks compared to others based on key words? For most of my key words I am listed within the first 5 search results. There is one key word phrase that I can't seem to locate my web page in. If I put the key words in quotes and then add my website name then of course the result comes back "1 of 1". Just wondering if there is a quicker way to find out how far down I am on some key words!

Thanks!

Unfortunately, no. There is no easy way short of looking through the search results. There are programs that will automate this process, but Google does not like them at all.

You should be able to see the page in your logs. Look for a clickthrough from google on that keyword and track back that link.

heini's idea is not bad. Also you could try using the advanced search and setting the number of results to return to 100. Then press ctrl-f to find your domain name on the page. Got to the next page and do the same. That way you can check about 100 results in 3 seconds. I've never had to go past page 3 when looking for my pages.

Actually, you can use programs to find out how you rank. There is a tutorial here that walks you through creating one in VisualBasic, if you have access to it and are familiar with VB. I dont have the link now, but if you StickyMail me I can get it to you tomorrow.

I only searches the top 100 SERPs for any given keyword/domain combo.
