Gviewer supporting CSS

Are CSS sites at a disdvantage visually?

Firstly thanx Webmasterworld for all the help you give newbie's like me.

Secondly after reading the thread that mentions googles gviewer I noticed sites using CSS do not necessarily view the way they should. Is using CSS going to be a disadvantage?
