Free Search Engine Submissions

Which se's allow free submission

I was under the impression that each search engine allows for free submission. Unfortunately the only free ones that I can find are google, yahoo (but you have to wait a year for inclusion) and alta vista. Are there any other free se's that are worth submitting to?
