Should I resubmit my site after I altered my Tags?

Please Help! I just tweaked my Home Page Keyword Meta Tag from a Tag with a lot of words to a more focused list of Keywords. My question is this - Should I resubmit my site to the search engines? I am already listed in all the search engines, so my second question is: If I am already listed, will I penalized by resubmitting? I am pretty sure that when you change your tags or anything else on your site, it is okay to resubmit - but I would love some advice.

If it's been awhile since your last submission go ahead and resubmit. You could grow old waiting for the spiders to come back on their own.

If it has been more than 30days, you are more than safe with most of the engines. There really is no set problem with resubmission to most of the se's. The only one I wouldn't resubmit too on that time frame would be infoseeek(?).
