A safe number to use is 5 pages per domain per day. You can safely submit these without being seen as spamming

Hi curiousgeorge,

Yes they can and do monitor your ip address, but 5 URL's per day is not spamming them. Now if you are talking about 100 URL's per day, that would be a different story.

Might I suggest for more in-depth answers and many related topics to visit the search function of webmasterworld located at the top left of your screen. I use this quite often to flesh out great tidbits of information on a lot of topics. This and the active post will be your two best freinds here for finding current up to date information.

Okay, so you are saying that I can post 5 URLs from the same site to a search engine each day and not be blackflagged for spamming. Do you mean the same domain or is it the same IP address, as my company does virtual hosting this is quite important.

Also is this true for all search engines? or do some have different policies to others?
