Server Side Includes

what will the spiders see?

we are moving to server side includes for our main menues and contend areas of our web site...

will the se spider see the only the ssi include tag or will it actually see the included file?

is there a way to simulate the different spiders and see for ourselves just what they see?

The file or action is included before the page is sent off the server. The spider sees nothing but the content you produce. There is no way to determine that a page is generated with ssi. (this page being an example)
