The phrase "doorway page" has a lot of meanings these days. Here's a link [webmasterworld.com] to a good introductory thread. After that, you can find a lot more information by using the "site search" function at the top of the page. We've had a lot of conversation about doorways around here.
Actually I want to start from begining.I do not know how to go ahead.
If you are very new to all this maybe try a more mainstream help site first, maybe something like webmonkey [hotwired.lycos.com].
If you have a Flash site, or some other kind of site that *cannot* be optimized easily, a doorway page would probably be allowable... but if you are able to design keyword rich, simple pages *without* building doorway pages, I'd concentrate on building your link popularity instead of using doorways. I don't know that doorways would really be worth the risk for a beginner.
ajayparmar, that should do it. You just need to use the right keywords in the right places. If you do that, then a doorway page isn't necessary. Each page on your site can function as a doorway, or entry page, for a specific phrase.
This is my favorite article. It's a basic tutorial on how to design web pages for high rankings:
Just print it out, read it through a few times, and follow along with it.
To be able to create effective doorway pages, you need to first learn how to create effective pages, or your doorways won't work.
>Actually I want to start from begining.
That article is the best beginning.
Everything mivox said is absolutely correct. Well done pages should do it for you without taking any chances.
If you're talking about delivering one page to site visitors and another, well optimized page to search engines, check out the cloaking forum [webmasterworld.com]
First you learn to optimize pages well, then you buy a cloaking script, after you fully understand it.
