Mortgage origination software

Looking for a programmer or existing software solution.

My mortgage company client wants online loan application which will download into existing Calyx "Point" software. Calyx wants $50 monthly from each loan officer over and above our hosting fee. Since we are not using the Calyx websites and the submitted information is exactly the same fields except for Loan Officer name and email, this seems unreasonable. Anyone else had this problem?

The interface of Mortgage LOS software to the Internet (or to other Mortgage LOS software such as Genesis or Contour) has always been a point of contention for Mortgage companies and a source of opportunity for the software providers and independent contractors. The addition of Lending Tree and other Internet type lead sources has magnified the problem. From a purely technical point of view, the problem isn't difficult to resolve. It requires mapping fields from the on-line app to match the fields required by Calyx. One of my clients is doing the same thing for their Contour system. We are probably going to use a local company with a strong background in the Mortgage Industry to do the programming.
