PDF to HTML?

I have a need for a way to convert pdf files (specifically newsletters) to html--at least the text, if not the graphics. Google has a nice way of doing it,in listings for PDF documents with the option of viewing in HTML. I wonder if it's a server-side Perl or PHP script that's available for use in a Unix hosting environment--anyone know?

The second one seems to be what I need, but only problem is it seems to be oriented towards those with shell access, which I do not have. I only have ftp access on a shared hosting service. If it is going to work for me, I'll need to do some studying, and/or get some serious guidance from a unix guru.
