SQL Enterprise Manager

Any way of getting it without buying SQL Server?

I need to get Enterprise Manager to access a SQL database on an SQL server that's hosting a client database. The only way I know to get it is with SQL Server (it is apparently included). Is there any source for Enterprise Manager? Thanks

mnw...try this link (if edited, sticky mail me for it). It's a VB Enterprise Manager you can build (apparently, I haven't read through it all). Enterprise Manager IS a part of SQL and has to be installed as part of the Tools option. You can install it separately, but only from the SQL disk.

Hope it helps.

You could also get the 120 day trial for sql2000 and just install the client access tools(enterprise manager) from that. And if I remember correctly it does not time out like the server.

We'll see. I did just that (d/l the Eval version and installed just the Tools). Although I will continue to look for a licensed source that doesn't cost a fortune. I'd hate to wake up on Day 121 and find out that Enterprise Manager really was a 120 day dream. Thanks for everyone's input
