Dating Site Software Recommendations?

I have seen this question asked in the past and noone has replied, (at least not to the ones I've seen). I know there are some super helpful and very knowledgeable webmasters here.

If you are familiar with the dating software and/or scripts that are available, please let me know. Thanks in advance for your help and insight.

I am sure you've Googled for "dating software" before. I did that last year and found AEwebworks' software called 'aeDating' on top of the result. It is feature rich, the most features I've seen for a dating software.

If I'm not mistaken the price was over US$800. Just checked their site just now and the price is US$690. Still too pricey for me. Don't think I could recover the cost. Too many dating sites out there. Also, after buying it I'm afraid of finding better and cheaper software later and regret of buying it without doing careful research.

Still searching and I'm glad you created this thread. Is there open source dating software that is popular like Joomla, phpbb? :D
