Pay for MaxMind Geo-IP

Does anybody know if it's any point in purchasing the pro version of Geo-IP from MaxMind instead of using the free version they have available?

After starting filtering International traffic our revenue have fallen to 1/3 of what we earned before we started doing this. However, our Google stats shows that more than 60% of our traffic is from the US.

Would buying the proversion of Geo-IP provide more accurate filtering of International traffic?
