After lot of searching I finally signed up for a shared hosting with [a shared host] (< $10 per month) but after 30 days of hosting they are complaining of excessive resources. They want me to buy a dedicated plan. I dont think or want to as I am not using that much resources. I personally think thats just a sales plan to force people to dedicated plans ($100 per month)
I use wordpress (php, mysql) with around 10K pageviews a day, Yabb (perl) with around 5K pageviews a day and YaBB SE (php, mysql) with around 5K pageviews a day and some html pageviews (around 5K a day).
I would like a few addon domains, 25Gig bandwidth, 1 Gb space, php, mysql, unix/linux hosting.
I am looking for something less than $25 per month.

Everyone has good and bad stories to share, and as you say, the web is innundated with spam about web hosting. We don't want the forums to share in that spam.
There are some major players in the business who have a solid reputation, but the ultimate decision is yours, not based on recommendations here.
