Hello:

We are using forms on our Web site that send us submitted information via email. I am looking for an autoresponder tool that I can use with our existing forms. Please let me know what you suggest.

Blessings,
Robert Shields

Hi, if you are using the form to send an email, you can program you email client or server to do the autorespond. You won't need to do any web code for this.

I don't know much about configuring an autoresponder on an email server, but what I typically do is send off the "autoresponse" from the code. And I'll try to personalize it if I"m asking for the users name or something.

eg:

Dear Shawn, thank you for contacting us today. While we look into your request, please check out our help section to see if your question has been answered there already.....blah blah blah....
