iis webserver not reachable in internal network

one pc is running iis 5.1 on xp professional(ip 192.168.1.10).http://localhost/ is running the iis page. i try to connect to it in the browser [192.168.1.10...] from other machines in the same network(page not found). i can reach it by pinging. when i stop iis and start for example apache i have no problems. so it must be something in iis. what can be wrong?

found it. port 80 had to be open in xp firewall. i thought it was because apache was running also on port 80. strange
