Forum Moderators: phranque
But, I'm now looking for something that may be a CMS but may be something off on a tangent. Apparently, this site is going to be hosting several domains on a shared server setup. These domains will be nothing more than "business card" sites: 800x600 give or take, a remote possibility of a second page.
The company has a graphics artist that will be creating a couple dozen "themes" - basically a background image, several layouts, font colors, etc.
I need a front end that will allow the owner of the site to choose the theme and layout, then add content quickly and easily.
Sure, Frontpage and hundreds of other workstation-based webpage contruction tools exist. But I'm hoping that someone has already created a server application that looks pretty and is built to be operated by a functional idiot.
So, a server application that any number of users can activate to pick and choose components and placement, and throw in a dozen paragraphs - changeable at whim - for their site only.
Hopefully I won't have to build this application myself - why reinvent the wheel.
Running Windows Server 2003. I prefer ASP but can deal with PHP/mySQL if necessary.
Thanks.
