Just for the heck of it, can we do a little benchmarking on round trip times for your sites. I use a program called WS_FTP Ping that allows me to perform basic domain tests, one of those being a Ping Utility.

I've currently got it set up to make 5 trips. As of this moment, I'm seeing these types of numbers in ms...

So, what is it that determines the round trip times when Pinging?

I'm wondering if me sitting on top of an OC192 connection has anything to do with my extremely low ping times? Who out there really understands all this and what effect does it have overall?
